This week I spent mostly reading literature and preparing my report for the first peer review with other master’s thesis students. Due to reasons unknown to me, the coordinator for master’s theses at the university have delayed the first session and not published a date for the session. Therefore, I’ve had problems planning my week accordingly (should I focus on anomaly detection or writing report?).

Summary of week [7/20]

  • Monday: more work on the report
  • Tuesday: more work on the report, read literature
  • Wednesday: I realized that I’ve been collecting “junk”-metrics, so I spent the day correcting this
  • Thursday: More changes to metrics collection
  • Friday: Had a meeting with my supervisor, discussed the road map. Spent some time visualizing metrics.

Next week

I still haven’t heard anything about the peer review session, so I’m not sure what my focus will be for next week…
